We can get so caught up on this day about getting someone else something or just doing things to show that someone else just how much they mean to us.
Or we can get caught up in the “I hate Valentines because I have noone to share it with” kind of mood.
Honey! I say if you have a Valentines go show forth your love! Proclaim it to the world if you wish.
And if you don’t have a Valentines, IT’S OK! Grab your mom, grab a awesome friend! let them be your Valentines.

Just don’t forget to love you too!
Here’s 10 things you can do for you

1. Go to the gym, get your workout on.
2. Take you shopping. Come on who doesn’t love shopping??
3. Make something just for you. Bake something! Cook something! It’s so not selfish
4. Get your hair done. What’s the point in looking a total mess
5. Eyebrows? Maybe?
6. Indulge in some chocolate why don’t you? It wont hurt!
7. Hey! Who says you can’t buy yourself roses
8. Sing, Dance, Just be happy.

Diary Of A Curvy Girl(s): Intro

When we first decided that we were going to team up together by creating a blog that would just explode and color your already fantastic world, we knew first hand that the theme would be any and everything about us Curvy Girls.

Do me a favor, open up a magazine (preferably Vogue, People, Elle etc) what do see? Well, I’ll tell you what I don’t see… I don’t see too many curvy women plastered on every page that we so often flip through. Yes, we may occasionally see a woman with hips and thighs like ours that the industry triumphantly labeled as “plus size” but that’s not usually seen.

Why you ask? Because it’s not the norm.

So, yes, Vogue has had Adelle on their cover (shocker by the way) and recently Elle had Melissa McCarthy, who is also “plus size” on their cover as well, but she was covered in a big dark coat!

Maybe things are looking up you say…

But yet still on every issue there’s a thin girl who’s legs don’t touch that the fashion industry calls attractive. I’m not here to bash thin girls, I have thin friends, and family members– Love them!

But the idea of fash-CURVES-ion is to celebrate women with curves.

We don’t want to hide or cover up our curves, we want to show it off and at the same time being the modest beautiful fashionista that we are. I don’t care if you’re a size 10, 14, 18, or a 22 and above, your fabulous!!!

And if you love fashion, and in love with looking good and looking your best, then this is the place for you. Our blog is the place where you’re lifted up! A place where you can say “I love me just the way that I am, and damn proud of these curves”

We want you to be bold and comfortable in your own skin. We’re here to help you with that.

Btw we are your fash-CURVES-ion bloggers

We’re Curvy and we’re empowered!!!.me
